Creativity is a passion that drives me to create interesting art works.
I want my paintings to speak to you, for you to engage in them and make you feel something, to recall something or imagine something, a time, an event, a feeling. I want you to go away with something in your spirit that’s different somehow, better now, after spending time with my art.
To me art is creativity and the endless ways of making and creating images that can be shared with you.
Nature inspires me with all the anomaly of space and shape and intricate details that I like to make impressions of or express in creative ways, only the viewers eye can draw outs its interpretation.
My style is about creating and representing nature through the art styles of abstract expressionism, impressionism, contemporary and modern abstract, texture, mixed media, and modern abstract.
The mediums I use are acrylic and enamel paint, turpentine, grass tree resin, bitumen, textured plasters, modelling paste, impasto, canvas and board, photography skills.
Different painting techniques such as glazes, textured layering, glaze layering, abstract techniques and painting techniques, like shading and composition placements are what I use mostly. However I’m still learning and discovering new techniques and textures to play with.
