As a Native elder my inspiration often comes through colors, shapes, and memories. My creations are the visual embodiment of stories from the memories whispered by the individual parts of each creation and stories of life seen through my eyes. As a Salish Native my creations tell stories of fishing, fishing rights, sovereignty and tribal life past and present. Every creation 'belongs' to someone.
