I am primarily a pencil artist. Due to it's limitations I have branched out to painting, photography and digitally native art. My subjects tend to come from Pop culture since that is what inspires me. I have been creating art professionally since 1987 and founded laartwork.com in 2003. I have been featured in the book Marilyn in Art. I have had solo shows in Hollywood and have sold prints to over 40 countries around the world. Seeing copies of my art all around the web (including this site) and in galleries provokes mixed emotions. I am flattered that my work inspires other artists, but would like the credit for being their first. It has pushed me to be even better and show a wider range of abilities. I would like to thank Fine Art America for providing a place for anyone to offer their work to the public and a big THANK YOU to those who support artists everywhere and their rights to express themselves freely on any subject.
