Welcome to Leanne Howie Photography. I've been a serious photographer since 2001 and continue to hone my skills with a bent towards natural light photography and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us in this country. My latest photography took me on a journey around the western states of Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico in June of this year and in September I had an opportunity to fly into the Dry Tortugas in the Gulf of Mexico for some amazing shots of Fort Jefferson and surrounding areas.
What I'm most excited about now is that I have just introduced a new line of photography using HDR (High Dynamic Range) software. 'American Nostalgia - Planes, Trains, and Automobiles' is a project close to my heart whereas I am documenting old American relics and have travelled the old west in search of the few that are still left. More images will be added to this website in the near future and an extended trip along Route 66 in 2013.
There will be a limit to the number of larger prints (12x18 and up) available and once that number reaches 500, the photos will be pulled from the website. Every photo is digitally signed and appears in the right or left hand bottom corner.
