As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. But more recently she's inspired by her 'Umbrella Ladies' as she calls them. 'People really seam to be drawn to them' she says and to prove it 'Shoe Shopping' has won the 'Peoples Choice Award' in 2012 and in 2013 'Big Red' took Best of Show at the Art Gallery at Patriot Place. She is for the most part self taught and has an impressive collection of books and magazines. Laura paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio. Presently you can see her work at New England Crafters in Walpole, MA and at the 'Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place' in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.

All of Laura's paintings are signed and the acrylics and oils have been varnished.
Laura has won many awards including First Place at Canton's Spring Show 2011 and 'Best of Show and 'First Place' at the 'Art in the Park' Show in Norwood, MA. In September of 2011 at Quincy's ArtsFest Laura won 2 first place ribbons. In April of 2012 Laura won first place at The Morini Gallery and 'Hold On' just took Best of Show at Canton's Spring Show.
South Shore Living Magazine has chosen Laura's painting 'Surfside' for their July '2009' issue.
Desperate Housewives has selected 'A Hingham Sunset' for their TV show. 'Natural Awakenings' magazine has chosen 'Just Leave a Message' for the cover of their July 2012 issue. And the TV Show in 2013 'Ray Donovan' on Showtime has chosen 'On A Clear Day' for their set.
