I am a a Toronto, Canadian artist who loves to explore creative art through the use of colour, texture and imagination.
Creating a piece is more about the process than the final result for me . It begins as merely a vague idea, not fully envisioned, and then with time and sometimes effort , sometimes not .... the piece emerges.
Brushed, sprayed, troweled, carved, splattered, scraped or poured, the use of texture, mediums and abstraction hopefully provides an organic feel that encourages you to linger and rove across the canvas.
Each of us either likes it , loves it or doesn't.
It's not about what you look at ... it's about what you see.
Thanks for taking the time to stop in.
Recent experimental compositions involve acrylic paints mixed with an additive to increase the flow and surface penetration. This transparent self leveling gel is poured on the canvas, as well to each colour which is then also poured onto the canvas. Through painstakingly slow rotation, and movement of the canvas the vibrant pools of colour to bleed into each other, creating a fluid paint slick that wraps around the canvas as one innovative, seamless composition.
