As a child you could often find me quietly 'painting by numbers' in my room.   More often than not, my paintings were not exactly like those pictured on the box because I loved to change the numbers/colors around.   Although I won awards for my artwork in elementary school I never really believed in my heart I was a real artist.   I thought that 'real artists' could draw anything from memory, and that was a gift I did not have.   When reaching the upper grades we had to choose among our electives.   Music...Art...or Dance...more

Reworked Masterpieces

Using mixed media such as: textured wallpaper, tissue paper, newspaper, glue, ink, cola cans, trimmings from previous paintings, watercolor & acrylic paint, and...gorilla glue! If I think it would add interest...I try it! It's amazing what you can create when you use your imagination!
