My love for art began at the age of 6. My uncle painted with Norman Rockwell for a number of years. As a child, I would stay with my uncle and aunt for two week every summer. He taught me the value of art and he gave me my first set of art books. While in the military, I would draw pictures for fellow airman to send home to their girlfriend. In the 60's it was hard to make a living just painting, so I gave up art for 25 years and went to work raise a family.
