The Kristina Brozicevic's journey as a painter can be enclosed within category of the self-portrait, portrait and seascape. Her inspiration comes from the nature, dreams, childhood memories, self analysis and old photos. Her works are figurative, abstract, expressive and gestural and her favourite materials are oils, watercolors, gouache and ink. Kristina's paintings play with opposites – light and dark colors. Influenced by Francesca Woodman, Marlene Dumas, Qi Baishi, Gerhard Richter, Morris Louis and Rainer Fetting. She was born in 1984 in Rijeka (Croatia). Lives and works in Milan (Italy) where she studied at Academy of fine Arts Brera and obtained a master degree diploma in fine arts - painting and has had many exhibitions. She is full-time painter and musician.
