Welcome to 'Brigadoon of the Ozarks' landscape art in a variety of color, line and media of the Scottish Highlands-esque southeast Missouri region near the state's highest point, Taum Sauk Lookout, Ironton. Most of my work lately is on location; my hope is to achieve fundamental good design with a bright or light luminosity that is difficult to achieve in-studio. My sessions are in furtive, quick two-hour studies along roadsides, embankments, in ditches, on streets, etc., to get an appropriate view and to try, if possible, to capture in mood and effect any spirit of the moment -- in daylight, shine or rain. Prints here are available in archival, museum-quality paper or canvas and in a variety of framing options and also as a greeting card. Originals may be purchased by contacting me directly; pricing on originals can change -- please contact me about a piece you are thinking about.
