I have been making images for as long as I can remember. From my first camera -- a Kodak 110 Mickey Matic -- to the various film SLRs and cell phones I currently shoot with, I knew that I was meant to capture the world around me. My desire to stop time, to hold moments still, brought me from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan to Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan to finish my bachelor's degree in photography.
