Welcome to my website. I was eleven when I first noticed a painting by one of the old masters, and from that day on I wanted to be an artist. Art college soon followed, and from there a successful career in graphic design. My work owes much of its influence to my love of nature and the countryside, particularly the Peak District of Derbyshire, England. I am not tied to any one style, prefering to explore various avenues of expression, from fun stuff to the serious - although I do strive for simplicity in much of my work. I have won numerous awards and my work is held in both public and private collections. In 2012 I was selected to have my portrait of the Queen hung in the National Portrait Gallery, London.
