Mountain Lakes
These are paintings done from various lakes in South West Virginia. Most of them are from Mountain Lake in Giles County. This beautiful resort was the setting for the popular movie, "Dirty Dancing". When I was in college I loved to swim there and I have been back for two wedding anniversaries. It is a special place. Carvin's Cove is the water source for Roanoke and Smith Mountain Lake is a fast-growing resort in Franklin County, Virginia.
