I started creating contemporary abstract digital art 7 years ago, following a minor stroke. It originally started as a way to communicate with the nurses and doctors, as I couldn't speak well.

I've been compelled to continue with the art by some inner urge, and enjoy creating in my own style. Most of my work is organic in nature, it's based on the cells and energies in our bodies, biology, and my interest in astronomy. Add to that, my mood memories and daily influences also end up as art.

I'm 55, physically disabled, have cfs and hard of hearing now, my art along with the Internet is my window on the world. I see the world through the Internet, and the world sees me through my art. It's another reason I chose digital art as my medium, my files are my art and my art is Internet ready. It doesn't smell of paint and turps, I find it hard to hold brushes or pencils so the modified pen and tablet I use, along with my own software and pc, are all the tools I need to create my work. My computer is my canvas and my storage cabinet, back up disks and the website are my portfolio.
