Kathleen Hawkes studied painting and drawing at Pratt Institute in New York, The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, and The New Hampshire Institute of Art.
'I create my art based on something that I'm currently interested in looking at. I'm intrigued by the figure in space and environment, as well as structure and texture. If I can create an emotion using the flow of color and line, then I've achieved my goal.'
