Kate Sumners is an internationally known artist and a Page Arizona (USA) native. Having spent most of her life nestled in the heart of some of nature’s finest beauty in the iconic Southwestern United States, she has been motivated to express her love and appreciation for such pristine surroundings through her art. She has spent many years building her artistic skills, which encompass a wide range including watercolor and oil painting, charcoal drawing and photography. During this time she has been locally recognized even from an early age as an accomplished artist and awarded for her excellence in art.
Kate says, 'My artwork is intensely personal because I accurately capture my subjects with sensitivity, attention to detail & personality. I don't want the only meaningful aspect of my career to be my paycheck; I want to be remembered because I was 'responsible for the talent entrusted to me.''
