Kate Black - Fine Artist
This well-known Polish artist has been a dominant factor in furthering the popularity of fantasy-art. Her primary influences are Boris Vallejo, Frank Frazzetta and Frederic Remington.
Kate Black has been a traditional artist for the past 18 years. Her primary focus has been depictions of fantasy, horses and illusory landscapes. Over the past 3 years, Kate has focused her artistic energies on digital experimentation. Even though she has no formal art training, she expressively conveys her thoughts and dreams. Many of her works are rendered very realistically, but she is beginning to embrace impressionist styling.
Kate is well known for expressing the beauty of nature in her works and conveying her emotions with her bold color palette, and unique brush-work. In her every work you will find feelings, emotions what have ruled her in exact moment...poses, moves, subjects, colors, textures, mood simply everything can be a symbol.
Many people think that she uses some filters on photos and they look like painting but it's not true. Every picture is made from the sketch, outlines then she imposes color on color, starting from the brightes to the darkest, layer on layer, exactly like with traditional techniques but insted of brush she holds in her hand an electronic-pen (tablet Bamboo). Her works are NOT digitally changed photos!
Currently, Kate's digital paintings are becoming very popular as they are rendered to appear almost as traditional works.
If you have your own horse and want it to be painted, Kate is willing paint it for you.
The 'FINE ART AMERICA' Watermark will NOT appear on your final product.
