My love of photography started at the age of 12 with a Brownie 127 camera given to me by a relative, moving eventually to medium format film and darkroom. After a decade-or-so long hiatus, I moved reluctantly into the digital photography age, after finally accepting that it was here to stay (I was wrong about Windows also). Mostly raised in (and currently resident of) midwestern US, I am an experienced solo traveler, and it was France I fell in love with and where I now feel most at home. more
