When I was 8 years old I received my first Kodak Instamatic camera. I remember when I had my first roll of film developed members of the family told me that I wasted the film. However, one older brother who was an art major, just said, 'I think you need a better camera!'. A few years later I
received my first SLR for Christmas. I graduated with an Associates in Applied Science degree from the State University of New York at Morrisville with a degree in Journalism Technology. Having become a Retail Manager in a pro cameras shop for a while led me to a 32 year career in Retail Management and away from photography. In 2001, after having been laid off, I decided to invest in my first DSLR and reacquaint myself with the 'new' photography. I fell in love all over again. Today, I shoot with a Nikon D300. I enjoy shooting just about everything fine art. I am not comfortable shooting weddings or portraits. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
