Vienna is an illustrious city filled with imperial palaces, Baroque architecture and stunning art galleries. At the same time, it is surprisingly cozy and intimate. It is no accident that Vienna is famous for its exceptional coffee and divine pastries: its citizens know how to enjoy daily life, and Vienna has been called the most livable city in the world. Of course Vienna is inextricably associated with the waltz and with classical music from Beethoven, Haydn, Schubert, Strauss, Brahms, Mahler, and, of course, Mozart, probably Austria's most famous citizen. He was at the height of his creative powers when he lived here, writing perhaps his most famous works, The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
