I was a professional photographer for more than 35 years. While my vocation included wedding and portrait photography and the restoration of very old (and not so old) images, my avocation goes toward the more creative. These include floral and landscape photography (hopefully with a different perspective), some special events that lend to creative images, and a few things that start as photographs but end as digital art creations. Paintings by my Mom

My mom was an artist ... I thought she was pretty darn good! Anyway .. I'd like to share what I have left of her work. Most of the best of her paintings and drawings are long since sold .. in fact, there are a couple I wouldn't mind having back .. oh well . . . . She painted mostly in oils but did a lot in pastel and pencil as well. She also did some work with acrylics but was always frustrated because they dried so fast. Of course, with the oils, as soon as she finished something, she couldn't wait until they were dry!
