Jorge Alberto Gonzalez was born in Cuba in 1949 and emigrated the United States with my family in 1965. In 1969 upon graduating from High School, he started formally studying art at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. In 1972 after finishing the three year program offered by the school, he graduated with a certificate of completion with honors.
