Throughout my life, art making has provided a powerful and sensitive way for me to respond to nature, relationship and place in a way that has expanded my awareness and experience. The joyful and challenging process of creating images has added dimension and interest to life. My love of art and psychology lead me to complete a Masters Degree in Art Therapy in 2008.
The use of and expression through various mediums speaks to their utility, uniqueness and versatility. Much of my work has been a meditation on elements of nature which capture my attention through form, contrast, color, texture, lighting and ultimately through composition.
Through the creative process of image making, I lose myself, and find me too.
