Born in southern Poland, I spent 29 years living in Cambridgeshire, England, involved in a family business and devoting my time to various charities.
I came to Canada in 2007 where I now live in Toronto.
In 2008, I met Polish/Canadian artist Elizabeth Kawala, who after discovering my talent for painting during the preparations for one of her art exhibitions, encouraged me to pursue my passion.
I have always been interested in art, played the piano and spent my free time in England creating a Mediterranean-style garden.
Photography has always been a deep fascination of mine, I really enjoy it and it is a medium I use to express my artistic ideas.
Under the watchful eye of my mentor and very dear friend, I have been able to develop my own style, sharing her passion for painting, knowledge and experience.
My artistic inspiration and ideas come from everything I see, feel and experience and the simple fact that we are surrounded by art in every shape and form, encourages us to be creative and use our imagination to the full.
I believe that art has immense power to profoundly touch our hearts and souls. It has the ability to stir emotions and links us with beauty and nature, requiring passion, commitment and perseverance.
We all have a creative side in us just waiting to be found.... so I will always be eternally grateful to Elizabeth for finding me and making me believe in myself as an artist.
Please feel free to visit Elizabeth's website : www.elkagallery.ca
You will find her work on Fine Art America too.
