I was born in Zurich, Switzerland. My parents immigrated to the United States shortly after I was born, due to my dad's professional advancement, as a physicist, which required a relocation. We first lived in Michigan, then moved to Los Angeles, where I did most of my schooling. I have since early childhood been fascinated by trains, planes and boats, just like most little boys, but that fascination continued on into my teens and well into adulthood.
