I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where growing up I studied technical theatre, photography and fine art at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. I then spent many years away from the arts, chasing other dreams around the world, and recently had the good fortune of returning to my creative roots.
Most of my work is influenced by where I live in upstate New York, along the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. Canada is a 20 minute drive to the north and the Adirondack Mountains are just to the east. Simply a fantastic place to call home.
I use all Nikon products and am a proud owner of the new D800, though I'm still a huge fan of my D700. For pp edits I use PS CS6 Extended, PS Lightroom, Apple’s Aperture 3 and a host of Nik products. For the HDR conversions, I prefer Photomatix Pro. - I'm always willing to share my experience and eager to learn more, so lets chat.
