Joan Kerns is a retired special ed teacher who is following her passion of photographing that which fascinates and interests her. Believing in the power of natural, pure photography, she seldom, if ever, uses Photoshop, instead choosing to get it right in-camera with only minor tweaks post process. She also avoids flash and employs natural lighting when appropriate. Joan exhibits when time and circumstances allow and currently resides in her birthplace, Wheeling, WV.more
