Dollfaces

This series was taken visiting various antique and thrift stores in my area. When I was a child, I didn't play with dolls much, so as an adult, I find their faces rather fascinating and almost creepy. I like the contrast of their cuteness with the imperfections these dolls have, with obvious signs of being played with by their owners. Many of them show signs of age, like home haircuts, makeup additions, messy hair and cracks. They're both beautiful and spooky to me.
