I am a lifelong artist who has trained under the individual instruction of Mrs. Gloria Peterson-Plemmons. I have also taken painting and design courses at the University of Pittsburgh, and I have earned a web and print design certificate from Truman College in Chicago.
I create art in a variety of ways. I work in traditional media such as oils, acrylics, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, and pen & ink, and I have experience with digital programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash as well. My work spans from the realistic to the fantastic with the occasional bit of the abstract.
My favorite art is from the Renaissance period, and I constantly seek to learn more from the work of masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Albrecht Dürer, and El Greco. Alberto Giacometti, Salvador Dali, and Brom are some more modern artists who also inspire me.
