Although I've spent the last 39 years of my life devoted to my nursing career, I've always dabbled in art. I am primarily self-trained. I began my art interest with the use of pastels and then oils. I love the blending qualities of the two mediums. However an interest in painted ceramic tiles led me to painting with acrylics. I appreciate the vivid colors and the versatility of this medium.
