My family and I were Vietnamese refugees who came to the States in 1986. I grew up in San Jose, California, but moved to San Diego in 2003 to attend college. I have been in San Diego ever since and currently work as a school stenographer for deaf/hard-of-hearing students. Wild Humanity is a photo series that began in July 2014 with the goal of promoting human compassion for all life on this planet, whether it's a small insect, a flower, a tree, or a large elephant.
