Greg Mason Burns is a visual-based artist instead of a materials-based artist. His approach is to find the simplest answer in a world where opposites can coexist in the same place at the same time. The materials he uses are oil on canvas, watercolor on paper or board, and oil pastel on glass, among others. His artistic inspiration is Ernest Hemingway.
He is a graduate of both the University of Maine and the University of Edinburgh, and is originally from Bar Harbor, Maine. He currently lives in Curitiba, Brasil.
