Glenn was born, Gordon Glenn Farrell, in Brampton, 1954. Although no one in his family showed any interest in art, Glenn began, at the age of 9, sketching his teachers and many siblings. His mother submitted some of his musings to a mail order art school, where he received instruction in basic technique and feedback in the form of grades.
