Set next to lovely Falls River on 85 Main Street, Centerbrook is a new and innovative art gallery. Owned by Glynnis Sorrentino, and organized by Gallery Director Jan Blencowe, the gallery represents established and emerging contemporary artists and artisans. It is Ms. Sorrentino’s mission to create a haven and community for artists to work on the property, attend lectures, workshops and exhibit in the gallery. Numerous show, lectures, classes and workshops are already planned throughoutr 2008.

The gallery stood on the property as a 200 year old barn that Ms. Sorrentino renovated and converted into a gallery and artist working space. “The element of Northern light is so conducive to creativity here.” says artist Jeannette Olson. Views overlook Falls River. Limited loft space is available for resident artists.
