Friar's Bay Studio Gallery is located on Campobello Island just minutes from the Herring Cove Provincial Park, Roosevelt-Campobello International Park, and Lubec, Maine. The gallery features the fine art landscapes of award-winning artist Michael Chesley Johnson. (Paintings are tax- and duty-free!) The gallery also offers outdoor painting workshops in oil and pastel. Workshops are for adults of all levels, last a full week and consist of half-days. Paint half the day and explore the island the other half! When he's not out teaching or painting, Michael will be glad to give you a tour of the gallery and his studio.
