My first foray into the world of art happened when I was 3 years old. Early one morning I decided to create a crayon mural on my grandparents' newly painted livingroom walls. It was almost my last foray into anything. I received my BFA from the University of Illinois and then attended classes of my choosing at the Art Institute of Chicago. After teaching art at the high school level for several years, I decided to use my talent and training as a free-lance artist.
