I have always enjoyed drawing & doodeling.As a child most of my school books were covered with sketches & drawings,which annoyed my dear mother to no end.That phase passed once I got in High school.
Much later in life I decided to try my hand at painting,so about 7 years ago I bought some acrylic paints & the rest is history.I really started painting full time after I retired 3 1/2 years ago.My first few attempts were not good & I threw them out,but that did not discourage me.I studied different paintings & styles & was very fascinated with flowers & birds because of thier vivid colors & flowing beauty,which explains my style of painting.I have never taken any classes in painting or drawing,it has been all trial & error.I always carry a small camera with me & when I see something interesting I take a picture & do a redition of it.
My other passions are golf & gardening.Good at gardening,not so much in golf.
I have won several awards in different art shows in New Jersey,& some of my works are in private collections & commercial establishments..
