Interview by Mark Orr
Greetings! I am very pleased to present my art, here, on FAA' site. The art of peace, tranquility, tradition and love. Aristocratic art, a little eccentric art, but always firmly set in reality. I always look back and search for roots of all subjects I paint. All my paintings have their origins in my life experience, past or present, and all of them mirror my love for the subjects I paint. Behind all of them stands a story. I started to paint in a professional manner as a mature person who already knew what is important in life; and to me the most important things in my life are family, positive attitude, love, tradition and admiration of God's creation. Being a lover of art I found my inspiration in medieval art and in works of old great masters.
In art I am faithful to Albrecht Dürer who said - 'Truly, art is hidden in nature'.
I'm proud of my own way of expression and I'm trying to preserve my originality which I consider to be the greatest quality of any artist.
I love everything about nature and country. The views of the fields, the trees, the open sky... the animals, the wind telling old stories among the leaves in the evening... all of this... I love.
I was born with a great love of art and nature. It is enough for me to feel a little breeze and my heart can see its color, sense the aroma of the summer, or the fall... I recall all the moments when breeze touched flowers of red clover and brought the smell of honey or whispered among the leaves of the willow tree or moved wheat fields making great waves of green and silver or ruffled the surface of golden and blue water on an old pond bringing the scent of the rushes and mud. I can see the beauty of it all and I want to paint it.
When I look at a horse or a duck or a dear I see a perfect, beautiful creation and I want to paint them to preserve the beauty and memory of them.
All of my paintings have their own stories to tell and it is a great pleasure to me to put those stories along with the pictures. They give the backgrounds for the paintings and you, the viewer, by reading those stories become a part of my beautiful world of art.
Thank you,
Anna
