It is easy to understand why so many artists have been inspired while living here. The sharpness of the colors, the landscapes, the diversity of the vegetation, the smells ... etc, everything is so inspiring and each season has its own charm. When I arrived to live in Provence I became fascinated by sunflowers. Not the ones that shine and show off their beauty proudly for a few weeks during the summer and make everybody stop and take photos. No, the other ones! The ones that nobody stops to picture. The ones who go through the seasons, all types of weather with stillness and maturity. The ones who stand up gracefuly in the middle of the field when everybody has already forgotten about them. Yet they are so present. And this why I have done the below collection of "The forgotten of Van gogh" .
