Drawing has been my passion since childhood. When I moved to England and Wales I studied drawing and studio ceramics. It was a great privilege to have Frank Hamer teach me about glazing and to have Michael Casson show me how to throw pots and fire them. Later at the University of Wales in Cardiff I learned about working with photography and textiles.
Back in the USA now, I'm playing with layers and textures in painting. To balance things out I've added some representational art to my portfolio including illustrations for a couple of children's books.
