As you may know, Drew is an International award winning fine artist for some of his paintings
but has only recently started to capture his point of view on the world through the lens of a camera.
' The inspiration for my art comes from everywhere and from almost everything....
...every sound, every sight, every life experience, I love to be inspired and to inspire others to create any type of art.
Creating art is the best way to be 'in the moment', which is always the best place to be. ' -d.s.
Drew has a huge passion for life and for the past 30 years as a professional chef, drummer and global free diver, he has experienced countless wonders and beauty all over this planet. After 14 surgeries from head to toe, his life has changed dramatically and for this reason he started to paint and take pictures for us all to experience the world as he sees it.
His hopes are that in his art, you will feel the passion that he feels and that you connect with the pleasure and the pain from all his life experiences, because, ' it is our pasts that create our present, but it is up to us to create our future. It is true when one door closes, another one opens...but first you must make the effort to grab the handle, twist and open it and walk through.' -d.s.
