'One sees great things from the valleys, only small things from the peaks.' - G.K. Chesterton
I find it impossible to write about myself in the third person as though someone else is heaping praise on me, so will spare you of that...
I am very much a minimalist photographer. To me, being out and about with my camera whether it be in an urban crowd or in the solitude of a dewy morning meadow is really what, 'it is all about.'
Much of my photography takes place in the Inland Northwest of the United States where I am fortunate to live. I can choose urban street adventures or head on into the solitude of the rural West. Within a 20 minute drive, I can stand in awe of pristine mountain vistas, clear mountain streams and deep, beckoning lakes. Twenty minutes in the other direction and I am enveloped by one of Earth's true Photographer's Heaven in the gorgeous, deep, rich rolling wheat fields of the Palouse country.
I hope you find some of my work of interest, as I so enjoy sharing it.
