Born a long,long,long, time ago in Tacoma Washington. I moved to California when I finished high school. I got a job developing movie film, remember 16mm and super 8, yeah I'm that old. I eventually found a job in a professional photo lab in Hollywood California. That is when I fell in love with photography. I saw some of the most amazing photography that I had ever seen or even knew existed. I was able to talk to some of the photographers and I eventually caught the bug. I bought myself a little 35mm SLR and proceeded to go out on weekends and shoot. Working in a photo lab I was able to develop my own film but I still had to buy the film and pay for any prints I wanted. Unfortunately I wasted a lot of film, I wish I could have had a digital camera I sure would have saved a lot of money. Eventually I got married and we were blessed with two beautiful daughters. Having a to raise a family meant that photography would have take a back seat.
Now I am retired, my daughters are grown and have families of there own, My wife and I moved to Selma Oregon. We bought six acres of land with a cottage in the woods and a creek running on one side of the property. I am now in photographers heaven.
