I hope you enjoy browsing thru my works. I was born to live and breath art. As you go though my gallery, you will learn more about me, the Artist. I hope you will be able to appreciate my art. All of these I've created are my offerings to the Great Artist who've created and made me this way, My Almighty Father.

BIOGRAPHY
I am an Architect by profession but painting has always been my passion since I was a child of 5years old. I took a sabbatical break from painting for almost 2 decades! ...and concentrated my focus on my profession and my growing family.
Where I am very systematic and disciplined in my Architectural profession, I am a moody artist. I only paint/draw when I want to, although I did several commissioned portraits in oil and watercolor, I did not paint professionally.
I saw the work of Grandma Moses recently and was petrified to think, if I don't paint now will I end up painting in my golden years? :)).... My husband and I also went to the exhibit of the great Filipino masters Fernando Amorsolo and Juan Luna @ the Ayala Museum Makati and I was awe-inspired to get out from my painting hibernation and share my God given talent.
So I'm back once again on my sketchpad and canvases, painting and drawing when my schedule allows. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish several artworks before the year ends and eventually build a good amount of art portfolio before my retirement age or when arthritis will eventually attack me, whichever comes first. :))
I am flexible in my use of mediums from watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencils and charcoals. I'd like to keep my focus once again, hone my brushstrokes even more and I pray, I will make my Creator happy for not shelving my talent but by putting it to good use and sharing it to the world.
My real name is Grizelda Lourdes Merin - Coscolluela. My friends & family call me, Dindin. My artworks were signed either Grizelda or Dindin Merin before I got married in 2000. I am happily married to Bobby R. Coscolluela and we are blessed with 3 lovely kids.
