As a kid, Dick would hang around the art department at the advertising agency where his dad was creative director. Often getting under foot, he was assigned small graphic projects to keep him busy… waxing type galleys, shooting stats and setting headlines on the typositor. Once he was sent out with the staff photographer as an assistant (he carried the tripod) to shoot an ad for Bic in New Haven. Fast forward to 1980, he opened his studio doors for business.more
