I have been an artist since I was knee high to a short-horned locust. My dad, Willoughby Senior (FAA) was a professional artist and writer and I have stepped in his shoes since I was born, though he drew horses better than I did when I was a kid. My family lived in a hand-hewn log cabin we built ourselves in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and had no water or electricity. Quilt-inspired Paintings

My Wyoming Quilt series of paintings was inspired by my lifelong experiences living in my family's log cabin in the Snowy Range foothills of Wyoming. The original paintings range in size from the Wyoming Quilt at 18 by 24 inches to the River Mural at 8 by 16 feet. Please see the separate galleries devoted to the River Mural.
