I'm a self taught calligrapher born and raised in a small West Texas town. I've tried my hand at other mediums and skills but I simply enjoy calligraphy, something about making simple words and letters express more than what you get from reading them alone. Most of the images I have posted are older, some several years old, the one I have posted as my head shot is one of my most recent, and is more like the kind of '' free form '' calligraphy I really enjoy doing.
