Seldom do you find the reluctant artist. Somehow I resisted painting for most of my adult life, although my mother is a master of every medium and fed and educated me by painting portraits. I chose architecture to satisfy my creativity, and it wasn't until I moved out west to the Sonoran Desert many years ago that I became obsessed with capturing it's colors and essence in oil.
