Colleen is a colorist who paints landscapes and seascapes using an unlimited palette with bold and lively brush strokes.
An intuitive connection with nature is evident in her paintings which evoke emotions felt by the artist.
New England Artist Caleb Stone was Colleen's mentor. She has painted plein aire on Monhegan Island and traveled to Tuscany with Caleb to paint it's pastoral vistas.
Colleen has a private Studio in Ipswich Ma. where she lives and finds unlimited scenes of golden marshes and beautiful beaches to paint. Gloucester and Rockport Ma. are both strong sources of inspiration for her work as well as the trips she continues to make to Monhegan Island at least twice a year.
Valerie's Gallery in Newburyport Ma. Is currently representing Colleen's work.
