Chris Pyrenean is Mexican and Irish born, in Los Angeles specifically Boyle Heights. She was raised Catholic by my grandparents, but then also raised punk by my parents. My father was the founder and leader of the punk band ï¿½The Stainsï¿½. The Stains are still very popular in Boyle Heights and crossed paths with Black Flag and this band did cross paths. Northeast Los Angeles

Looks like photos from 1800's England, but it's Los Angeles. I remember the images from psychology class about child labor during the industrial revolution. These buildings reminded me of that. But these buildings are dead. Nothing is being produced in them, but there is trash around them. It's Los Angeles some where off of Lacey street and Ave 26. I took these photos in the summer of 2012 while I took my daughter for walk. These buildings are across from animal shelter.
